Please Help! Problems with my Samsung SCH-A670

hello fellow cell phone explorers,

i bought my phone roughly 20 months ago and just recently i've been having problems. one night when i came home, my phone turned itself off. Then, when i tried to turn it back on, it didn't get past the start up screen (where it says 'verizon wireless') before restarting itself. Now it just powers up to the start up screen and restarts itself until it's out of battery.

I can charge it normally, and it goes to the charging screen, but it never starts all the way up to the point where i can make a call or check my messages or do anything.

any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
