Unlocked Samsung x475 Help Please (not with unlocking, tech problem)

I have a t-mobile branded Samsung xs475 that I unlocked so I can use it with cingular. The problem I am having is I can't download ringtones, use the media net, or anything like that because I it still tries to go to the "t zones." Is there anyway I can change this or do I just have to live with it?

Ok, this is a simple problem to fix! What you need is called a "Web-Sessions" packet. You can call cingular and tell them you have a Samsung with Cigular (tell them a cingular modle simmilar to yours) and you're MEDIAnet and MMS settings aren't working. Ask to send a web-packet and MMS packet settings to your phone and you should be good to go! Good luck!

So, there is nothing I can do but call them? I don't mind calling them I just wanna make sure there is nothing I can do personally.

they told me the packets are sent everytime I get the frequency. I have no idea what to do. It's not a big deal, I just wanna get the most out of this phone.
