T619 SMS storage location

Hello all this is my first post here; also I am a new T-Mobile customer, and have a question about my Samsung T619. Is there anyway for incoming text messages to be saved to the phone memory by default; as its very annoying to have to delete messages with only 30 in the inbox.

I know this is an old post but is there any way to do this? I can have a lot more texts on my phone but only 30 on my sim card.
