I need to backup the contacts in my siters sumsung a-900 (sprint) phone.
If it can be done via mac I'd love that.
However I doubt that can be done. I have samsungs "contacts copier" but I cannot get win2k to recognize the phone. I've looked for a usb driver for the phone to no avail. Is there one? Is there an easy solution?
Thank anyone or everyone very much.

This might be the driver you need:
Index of /samsung.a920
Select the MCCI driver, note that it is a RAR archive and you will need WinRAR to unzip it.Dan Phillips

Re: a900 transfer contacts, need driver?
Thanks loads, I'll give it a try.
Is there anyway to know whether the USB cable is working (or is the correct one)?
My sister purchased it. All I get is the computer recognizing the cable but no further and with Bluetooth at least the phone is seen, but only picture folders.

If you want to use Bluetooth download and install BlueSoleil, it's a program that offers way more Bluetooth profiles then the near zero that Windows has by default. The only thing about BlueSoleil is that the support for Bluetooth hardware can be picky. It doesn't see my Rocketfish USB adapter.

Thanks Dan,
I'll check out BlueSoleil as well. I have built in BT which which recognizes the Samsung phone image folders.
I"ll see what changes when I use BS.
