Problems with Sasmsung SCH-740

yo whats good guys
Idk if anyone has had this problem but when i try to answer my phone i cant hear what the other persons saying but the other person can hear me. And the only way I can hear what the other person is saying is by putting it on speakerphone. thanks for any help cause it really pissing me off.

Try taking the battery out of the phone, waiting at least 10-15 seconds, putting it back in and seeing if that works. Try going into Menu -> Settings & Tools -> Sound Settings -> Earpiece Volume and turn it all the way up.
