Samsung Xcover 271

A new rugged handset has just been added to the Samsung lineup. The Samsung Xcover 271 is IP67 certified and has raised the bar when it comes to its rugged capabilities. The Xcover 271 is dust, water and shock resistant and can still function after being submerged in 1 meter deep water for 30 minutes.
Some of the features include: 30MB internal memory, digital compass, 3G support with video, 2 inch display, GPS, Google Maps, microSD card slot, pedometer, FM radio, loudspeaker, large keypad, music player and 19 hours of talk time with 2G or up to 7 hours with 3G.

The price of the phone will be around 1,700 kronor (US$241) in Sweden and will be available in October.
