Samsung has finally made the Google Nexus S available for the United States and has went on sale as of yesterday. The Nexus S for Google handset runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but does not have the Samsung UI customization.

Other features of the Samsung Nexus S for Google include: 4-inch contoured Super AMOLED display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5MP camera with flash, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, 720p HD video playback, non-expandable 16GB memory, 1500mAh battery and NFC support.

For those wanting to get their hands on the Nexus S, Best Buy is selling the handset unlocked for a price of $529.99 or a price of $199.99 locked with T-Mobile.
