News: Symbian support will end Friday

As of tomorrow, New Years Eve, Samsung will stop supporting the Symbian platform. This news comes from Samsung’s Mobile Innovator, who sent a reminder email, letting us know that Symbian platform will no longer be available. In October, the Symbian Lab was closed.

Due to the smartphones coming out with Android and Gingerbread, it doesn't look like Samsung will bring back the Symbian OS anytime soon.
