News: Samsung Gio coming to South Korea

At the MWC event, A Samsung device, called the Samsung Gio, was revealed. Now, South Korea will soon see the launch of this new Samsung phone which is said to run on Android 2.2 and come with the following features: an 800MHz processor, 3.2-inch display, 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB, DivX support and T-DMB.

SKT and KT will be the two carriers who will carry this Samsung device. The Samsung Gio comes with a Hyperskin battery cover that will protect the Gio from any fingerprints, scratches and will help with the grip of the phone, not to mention giving the Gio a classy look.

Silver white and dark silver will be the two color options available for the Samsung Gio and will cost around 500,000 won ($463)
