Lucy Koh, the U.S. District Court judge, has ordered Samsung to show samples of five of their devices that are currently being developed over to Apple's lawyers. Lucy Koh stated that “Apple has demonstrated good cause for some, limited expedited discovery.”

You may have heard that Apple filed lawsuit back in April for the design copying of the iPad and the iPhone and Lucy Koh is giving Samsung 30 days to show these samples as well as packaging and packaging inserts, to the Apple lawyers, for their production of the Samsung Galaxy S II, Infuse 4G, Infuse 4G LTE and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1.

Apple employees as well as their in house counsel will not be able to investigate for themselves of Samsung's next generation of devices due to the fact that U.S. District Court Judge, Lucy Koh, has stated that this to "Outside Counsel Eyes Only."

No one is being judged guilty at this time, it's just to see or prove that Samsung is not infringing upon Apple's designs, especially after Samsung reportedly made some changes to its Samsung Tab 10.1 just shortly after Apple launched their iPad 2.
