Evening:
About 2 weeks ago, out of the blue, I started receiving a "bad request" when I tried to access/logon to my hotmail account. I've read through many, many sites/forums that I googled and nothing has helped. I've tried clearing the cache, cookies, history and a data reset. I tried a "Dolphin" browser and still got the "bad request". This leads me to think it's a problem within the phone(?) I'm hoping someone here could help me out and explain how to correct the problem. phone specs> Samsung Anycall GalaxyS---model shw-m110s....Android Froyo 2.2 O.S.....Google browser
I can access the hotmail account via a laptop or PC????
Thank You:
Rick

To joe123456
Thanx for replying. I have done the following steps multiple times:
cleared cache, history, cookies data and form data. Have reset to default settings. I did this on/to both the google browser and the hotmail login page. All to no avail! Is there any other tasks I should try?

Re: fix "bad request"
Do you have any other device, which you can use to login Hotmail account. If the other device have same bad request problem it is issue with Microsoft. You need to contact there web page for the problem.

Re: fix "bad request"
To EVERYONE
OK, forget the the bad request. Got a MAJOR problem with an app overtaking everything and I cannot use the phone for anything other than a timepiece. Tried to rest to factory default and it didn't clear the corrupted app. Now, when in "recovery mode" I have this: --Movi_check Start..!!
checksum conformation need_checksum[1]
MBR_ChkSum in header : 5428A4F56E4327824C6B890071140560
MBR checksum : 26E269CAF6F8A34EDB3553F8EFEA551E;7 `&
MBR Checksum Error
Movinand Checksum Comformation Fail
--movi__checking done!...
# Manual Mode #
WOW!!! OK, what's happened and how do I fix it? Maybe this was the problem to start with? I swear I did nothing other than to try to "factory reset", which even though it says it did, it failed for I cannot use the phone because of a corrupted app overriding everything. BTW the app I can't get rid of that's causing the override of everything is:
com.qihoo, security (process com.qihoo.security) I got this corrupted app, somehow, when trying to run an update for on a "360 Security" app. ??
HELP!! and THANX

Re: fix "bad request"
TO ankit24007
Thanks for responding. No, I'm afraid all your suggestions will not help. You see, the rogue app that took over the phone does not/will not quit....in other words the app runs all the time and blocks me from opening other apps. I cannot remove the app or it's files because the app doesn't allow enough time to switch to other operating apps before it "freezes" the entire phone. (Do you understand?). I know this sounds complicated or even impossible, but I assure you I cannot do anything with this phone while this damn rogue app is on it!! Here is the message I continually get :
Sorry!
The application com.qihoo.security (process com.qihoo.security) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Force Close/Report
So, once you hit "Force Close" it closes for about 5 seconds then opens and the process starts all over again. I'm not sure, but somehow I have to get it to "tether" to a PC, then somehow wipe the entire O.S and reinstall a newer one...or so I think. Any ideas on how to get rid of the rogue app once and for all?
THANX:
Rick
