i converted some midi files for my new phone but it seems like my phone may have some type of protection on it preventing me from transfering them onto it. Any ideas? I payed 20 bills for this program that does it so it's gonna suck if it won't work with my phone. Please help!

Hmmm... not sure what the problem is. I was bale to transfer a couple ringtones to my phone using EasyGPRS and the IrDA port.
I downloaded a bunch of mmf files and not all of them worked, though. Maybe corrupt files or wrong mmf format...? Are you getting any error messages when trying to transfer the ringtones?

Also, make sure the mmf file's size does not exceed 40K. I had that problem tonight, too. As long as it's under 40K and you're sure the file is not corrupt, you should be fine.

The best proggy out there I've heard of and used is called PSMPlay. If you do a search on "PSMPlay" on this forum, you'll find links to it for downloading. It can also convert wav files. So, if you have obnoxious sound effects you wanna use as ring tones it will do it for you. Oh, and use EasyGPRS to upload the ring tones to your phone.

i'm using mobile music polyphonic to convert to .mmf and it works fine. the infrared port on my laptop works great with the s307...using that with easygprs makes transferring very easy. easygprs can be downloaded from samsung's website here
