called sprint they said its not possible....and they also said i cant connect it to the computer to DL anything to my phone either....so am i stuck to paying for stuff to get wallpapers and ringtones?

Yes you can!
Yes you can! Use uploaders over at FunForMobile to send files to your phone (apps, ringtones, walls, etc). Also, you CAN get a data cable for the MM-8300. Try eBay. But you shouldn't need one with those uploaders. Have fun!

thanks i called in to sprint and they said i couldnt use a cord or receive attachments....

Yeah, all it is is that Sprint doesn't want you getting stuff on your phone for free, they want you to pay THEM for downloads. That's why they lied to you.
