In case some of you have not noticed. It says right under the Getting Started/New Member Help That this thread is for general help with the FORUM, NOT for Cellphone help.
PLEASE post your cellphone questions in the appropriate cellphone area.
Also, it would really help all us people (moderators and the other helpful people here) if you fill in all the information about your phone and provider in the User CP - Edit Profile area. That way, when you do post your questions, we already have that information.
Thank You in advance!

Post a question?
If you mean you have a particular question about your phone, please go to the main forum menu, find your phone manufacturer thread, click on that and then post your question there....or find the appropriate forum for your question and post there.

Re: Please Read This!!!
I tried to post a question on the Verizon forum but was told I needed to have a "score" of 20 to post. Now if this is one of them cant post until you have posted enough to get points sort of thing, seems kinda pointless...

Re: Please Read This!!!
This is kinda silly. It looks like I have to post 19 more frivilous questions scattered around the help area before I can actually post a question in the phone area. I imagine that I will probably be banned for off topic posts before I reach the magic 20 so I can post an on topic question.
Post number 2..only 18 more to go....

Re: Please Read This!!!
You are mistaking the alt.cellular newsgroups for our forums. The only forum that has a posting requirement is the For Sale section, but we have newsgroups incorporated into our site as an additional source of information for our members. However, we don't recommend posting in them unless you're familiar with newsgroup etiquette, and they are unmoderated so there can be some offensive content, scamming, etc. and we don't want our "newbies" to accidentally stumble into all of that. All of our manufacturer and service provider forums are open to anyone who is registered, sorry for the misunderstanding but I hope this clears it up.

Verizon Newsgroup. This is not part of CPF but is incorporated as a service to our users. CPF does not control the content and suggests that you avoid posting here unless you are familiar with newsgroup etiquette. Quote all replies.Last edited by Brad729; 09-12-2006 at 10:57 PM.

Re: Please Read This!!!
I must admitt I am new to (to this site) and I do not see how to introduce myself.
I also have a question: I would like to know what people think of the Keys Up interface? Information can be found at Keys Up Handheld Interface. This interface was used by Wildseed with their phone the Identity. This appeared for a while in a limited market. I understand that they had some trouble with the phone not related to this interface.
They were subsequently aquired by AOL, I believe for their programming ability.
I believe that this interface can serve the needs of many people. It was created to better serve people since our thumbs are located at the upper area of the phone when held in our hands. The keys are placed above the display closer to our thumbs. The Keys Up interface is designed to avoid cramped fingers and the need to manipulate the phone about in the hand in order to use.
I would like some feedback if someone would like to offer it. The purpose of the Keys Up site is to collect data to forward to companies in order to influence them to offer phones built for our human hands with the keys above the display.
I, for one, would like to have a phone with the keys above the display because I find it easier to use, especially with one hand. This came about when I had babies to hold and only had one hand available to use my phone. It is my hope that it can help others. I have had many people tell me that they thought this was a great idea. However the phone manufactureres want to have numbers to show them that there is a demand.
It is my hope that phones and other devices can be designed for our human needs rather than force humans to adapt to the tools we use. The object of tools is to serve the human, NOT force the human to adapt to the tools!
All the best,
KUvision
