Same here. I tried to log in the past two days, and I couldn't get anything to work for me. I reset the password several times.

I just thought, maybe it has something to do with the fact I was trying to log on from a different IP than I signed up at..... but I highly doubt that.

From what i can gather. The problem occurs from trying to access the site from your favourites list. When manually typing the site i seem to login fine. Not sure why this happens though.

Hm, i remember seeing this in the beta stages of Vbulletin, but its weird to be popping back up again now. Just out of curiosity have you tried to log in again with the same username and password right after you dont get in the first time?

BTW, Are much of ye using AOL?

Having done a little research - it seems to be a vB glitch... we just need John to try'n fix it since everyone else is locked out of their mod/admin control panels!

when i followed the link then logged in, changed my password using ' user cp' add the link to favourites and use that to access the site. i havent had anymore problems with logging in. if you have the cpf site in your favourites list delete it and replace with the link. should be fine from there.

just a question Wiz... did you perchance clear your machine's cookies, either manually or through an automatic maintenance??

My issues of last evening seemto be solved with this morning's login - so perhaps John stayed up late and worked it out for us ... we need wsomeone with "issues" online now :P

I think this had something to do with some recent ad code that was added. I just removed it and the login seems to work fine now. I will have to investigate this further.

Does the site allow only one login from one IP/machine?

I requested new pw. Logged in now.
Hmmm.. i wonder if MotoFan would be locked out now.
