Hi BB-
Vying for 100 CPF$. Why I am worthy of your donation? My intent is benevolent and try to post helpful info. Is why I wound up at cpf, to get help. It's the one hand washes the other thing. Major Kudos to you for working with Hospice. What a fabulous organization. My step-dad passed away from Lou Gehrig's (ALS), my mother-in-law had ovarian cancer. The hospice people made a difference in our lives...caring, compassionate and competent angels they are. My mom, at 81, volunteers at their thrift shop.
I'd do the wallpaper thing, but in some ways, am not so advanced technologically speaking, as you can see by my phone model...lol. I do know where to get some free Harley Davidson stationary that works with outlook express and plays Born to be Wild...does that count for anything? What can I say? Familair with the Rose is Rose comic strip? If so, I can relate as my alterego is a biker chic. BTW, I'd be happy to donate CPF$ to somebody worthy. Can you help me out there? Smiles to you.

The Canadians were THE BEST when Americans were stranded during 9/11. Opened their homes and hearts to their southern neighbors. Altho I wasn't one in need, I will not forget the kindness and grace extended to my fellow countrymen by yours. My apologies to you for the arrogance some of my countrymen display at times. The Canandians I know are good folk.

Guess I wasn't worthy enough for the 100 cpf$?? just noticed Jr member status/rating/ranking?, but I haven't even been a member for a month yet. Is it ltime in service (length of time as a member) or # of posts, or? that marks change in status/rating/rank? And when I hover the cursor by my rep power it reads: PW is on a distinguished road. (I do know that my rep is to be designated by color, but I am having an issue with my LCD monitor at this time and I can't get the colors to display) Can you shed some light on this? I couldn't find specifics in FAQ. This site is not terribly intuitive. I'm fairly intelligent, but this site seems a bit cumbersome. Smiles to ya BB.

Once again, thanks. Now...a question, if I bank the CPF$ to keep it safe from thieves, why won't the bank allow me to donate it to somebody unless it's in my pocket? I wanted to donate to kobra17, because I'm a sucker for somebody wanting to do something nice for their mama, but the bank told me I didn't have it available to donate. (the amt was approx 1/10 of what is banked.) What gives?

PrimeWoman that's just the way it works. Kinda like real life, if it's in the bank and you are at 7-11 and you wish to buy a corn dog and a coke, without a debit card or checks, the corn dog and coke stays at 7-11 and the money that you don't have access to stays in the bank.

Curious kobra17, you do realize that cpf$ is only used here for downloads, ehancing your rank, arcade pass and other things cpf related? Were you looking to download something for your mom? How much CPF$ is needed?
