I've been reading reviews like crazy and have finally decided that the phone for me is the Sony Ericsson P910a. I just ordered an unlocked version for use in the US on a GSM network (Cingular). I phoned the Cingular store that will set me up on the Cingular network and the sales associate now has me worried. He indicated that the phone may not work with data functions, only phone calls. He said this is because it is unlocked and the code for interfacing with data may not be on the phone. He said he personally purchased an unlocked phone (not a 910a) and it will not work with any data - email, web browsing, etc. and warned me that this phone may not work either. Anyone had any experience with this? Any problems?
Thanks........

uhh......i know that my T616, while cingular branded, was unlocked and couldnt connect to any data things. but if u go to the SE website, i found a section where it would send and automatically install the settings u need to have the data functions work. dunno if they do the same for that phone but u can try
