i got a w800 and i didn't noticed this until recently because i've never really used the camera for video. Is there any way to record longer than 10 seconds? My z800 can record for as long as i have memory. What can i do and how can i do if possible.

    thanks

Well, W800 is practically a walkman verson of the K750 and on that, you press 0 to change recording times. That should do it, but if not, see the manual.

I believe that videos are set by default for MMS. While using the camera, just change the length of time to I think "standard". IDK...I haven't used my K750 in a while, but it should be simple.

make sure you have the video set for highquality video and not for MMS quality video. I used to have a w800i, and on the correct setting I could record for as long as I had memory (far longer than 10 seconds).

Wow, I've missed out on that completely, I'll have to try "0"... Thanks.

Perhaps you have a faulty one? If all W800's did this they would have to take all the ones in the same batch as yours back and reset the firmware. However you should hopefully be able to solve this by updating the firmware yourself via the supplied cable. You'll need the update program from Sony Ericsson which can be found here.
