Okay. Nope, you don't have to unlock your W810i. It's just the way ATT installed the firmware. The easiest way to restore your phone back to the original SE firmware is to check out a site called wotanserver.com. Just follow the steps on the "Getting Started" guide. You'd have to pay, which I believe is about $12 US (I don't know, I haven't used it in a while).
There is a free way to unbrand your phone, called Phone XS. However, I wouldn't recommend you using this method since you're new at this sort of thing. If you mess up, you might end up "bricking" your phone. So just use Wotanserver and you should be good.
