Delayed Android 2.1 update for Xperia X10 line

The Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10, X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro were suppose to have received Android updates this quarter but now we are hearing that is being delayed until the last part of October. According to Sony Ericcson's official blog, the company does not want to roll out any updates until they have the right quality and user experience.

The update is suppose to be an upgrade to Android 2.2 and not the Android 2.2. The update will include HD video recording and 5 homescreens for the Xperia X10 and for the Xperia X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro, the update will bring new backup and restore application with better Bluetooth functionality.

Actually, I love SE phone but since I got the X10, I'll never buy any phone from them again!
