How-to: Sony Xperia XZs Premium: Manage Calls, Messages, and Call Forwarding

Block Incoming Calls:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Access “All contacts”
3. Tap the contact/phone number you want to block
4. Press “Edit” > “Menu” and enable “All calls to voicemail”

Unblock Calls:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Go to “All contacts”
3. Select the contact you want to unblock
4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
5. Disable “All calls to voicemail”

Block Messages:

1. Open Google Messenger
2. Tap the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to block
3. Tap “Menu” > “People & Options”
4. Tap “Block [phone number]” > “OK”

NOTE: The conversation thread and future messages send by the blocked contact will be archived. Notification alerts are turned off for archived messages.

Unblock Messages:

1. Open Google Messenger
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Archived”
4. Tap the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to unblock
5. Tap “Menu” > “Unarchive”
6. Press “Menu” again and access “People & Options”
7. Tap “Unblock [phone number]”

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Call forwarding” (NOTE: this option might not be available if it isn’t supported by your carrier)
4. Enter or edit the phone number you want to use for call forwarding, or select a contact from the phonebook
5. Tap “Enable”

Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Call forwarding”
4. Select to forward incoming calls “When unanswered”, “When unreachable” or “When busy”
5. Enter or edit the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
6. Tap “Enable” / “Update” to confirm

Turn Call Forwarding OFF:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Settings”
4. Go to “Call forwarding”
5. Select the forwarding option you want to turn off
6. Tap “Disable”
