    How popular is football or soccer in the usa? your football team did well in the last world cup... but how many people compared to other sports support the game?

    Soccer rarely makes it on network television -- if it does, it's usually premier league on some cable channel. It gets about 30 seconds on SportsCenter and the back page of the newspaper.

    A select few support the game, but compared to the big four (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) it's got a LONG way to go.
