I've got a question for you. Are you happy with Sprint? I think their service is good at least here in washington it is. Their customer service isn't too bad. But so far I have not went over my min and each one of my bills have been at least $85 to $100 when it was supposed to be $50 for 1000 min plus $15 per month to have the web. I have not downloaded any ringers or screensavers that cost money. It is basically the taxes. I'm not sure if it is just this state which is so high or everyone is being taxed this bad. Please let me know how your bill has turned out.

Why don't you get that Sprint plan that changes depending on how many minutes you use.

    I think it's too late

I just singed a new contract with them a 2 year to get my min free after 7. Can I still change to the other plan?

    Well here's my $0.02.....

Keep in mind I've been with SprintPCS for almost a decade thru all the ups & downs and I think I'll still stay with them cause I've been with them so long they give me good deals ... like 750 minutes for $39.99 a month ... but anyway ... here's my BIGGEST list of complaints with Sprint...

Sprint has the lowest cost per minute compared to the others, but their coverage is probably the worst since it's an all digital network.

(Just a little FYI for those of you who've been duped by the "digital is better" propoganda ... it's not ... it's just different way to transmit data, it's not better ... it is CHEAPER for the phone providers to do digital though ... so they make more money by cramming more people onto a line whereas an analog line can only be used by one person at one time ... which is why all the cell phone companies hyped digital ... to get you off their analog lines so they could start making some more money)

As soon as you loose a digital tower (which is all the time here in Texas) you switch over to analog roaming which rapes you with something like a $1 a minute. My AT&T, Cingular, & Verizon friends get better coverage than me and never pay roaming ... because their companies were analog at one point so they still have good analog coverage when the digital signal inevitably fails.

I think their phone selection sux ... all SAMSUNG & SANYO

No real Nokia phones (they have 2 cheap offerings, but not the good ones) ... same story for Motorola ... like the 2 biggest names in cell phones with some of the coolest phones. What's the deal with this ... did Sprint hack the people off at Nokia & Motorola or something?

And I want the Danger Sidekick ... I almost switched over to T-Mobile just so I could get this phone.

I guess they think they can appease me by sticking a crappy camera on every phone and then sticking a "battery sucking" color screen on everything and charging me extra to call it "Vision"

And what's the deal with no BLUETOOTH! ... For cryin' out glavin' I think EVERYONE ELSE on the market has bluetooth but Sprint.

ANYWHO ... beyond all this ranting I'll probalby stay with them 'cause I've been with them for so long and the deals per minute are so great! ... LOL

    Not a good deal

I really hate to burst your bubble Aggie but 750 min for 39.99 is a terrible deal. Right now with Sprint I pay 49.99 for 1000 anytime with nights and weekend starting at 7. With unlimited Internet access for 15.00 per year. The company that I work for actually designs everything to do with cell phones (besides the phones) check out our web page Engineering Network International, Inc. So if you know of any engineers looking for a project tell them to come here. We have projects going right now for Cingular in Boston, AT&T in Texas and E-911 project that will begin in November for Verizons emergnecy calling

You're in a different market than I am then .. cause that deal isn't available here.

$40 for any Joe Schmo gets you 500 minutes here. You don't get 1000 minutes until you step up to $65.

Phone servcie has always been more expensive in Texas .. land line included.

I like sprint but their customer service could use an overhaul, and not only that they are real quick to cut your service off if you are even a day late with payment....

I disagree, you're right that Sprint drops calls all the time, if you can get a signal at all ... at least in Texas ... and here in TX Sprint calls have "digital static" all the time. Not to mention that annoying habit of requiring you to stand in "just the right location" to complete/continue a call ... you know what I'm talking about ... like in the building at work my phone doesn't work at all except in those certain few "hotspots" where calls actually make it through for no apparent reason ... lol ... oh and SprintPCS is the only company that can't get a digital signal inside my building at work ... so I'm on analog roaming the whole time. Verizon, AT&T, Cingular ... all of them get digital signals inside the building, but not Sprint.

I got the corporate 5% discount, but it really doesn't do anything except lower the cost of all the taxes they give you. To get the discount I just asked if my company was participating. All they do is ask to see your pay stub.

I have to say I am happy with Sprint. I live in Pittsburgh PA. I get service in almost every area of town. My family has gone through tons of companies. We had Nextel before Sprint. Nextel I would have loved to have smacked them all upside the head. So I am happy with Sprint I rarely have any problems and when I do they are fixed quickly.
