Does anyone know how this can be done. My fiance has a stupid sprint contract that she can't get out of and really wants a razr bad. I have a few razr phones but don't know how to do it.
I was going to buy her a new blade for Christmas but if there was another way i would. any suggestions. As for carriers not unlocking other carriers on cdma SOME DO.
I have NTELOS and took a used Verizon Wireless Razr that had the logos and all that into my retailer and they took it in the back and came back out and had it programmed with my NTELOS number and it works great.

See More: Is there any way to get a Razr type phone hooked up with Sprint.

Wait a month. Word on the street is that Sprint is releasing three Motorolas in early November, including the MOTORAZR. Don't buy any phones yet, the holiday new releases are right around the corner and you'll be kicking yourself for not waiting.

Otherwise, Sprint will only activate a Sprint phone, there is no way to make any other company's phone or any debranded phone work correctly on Sprint's network, it's a common question people ask all the time. See the "sticky" at the top of the Sprint forum, "Can a Verizon phone work on Sprint".

The A900 is a "razr like phone".

Yeah, I'd wait. The RAZR, KRZR, and SLVR are all coming to Sprint in November. It's on Sprint's press site.

By the way, are they going to have the V3c or V3m?

    EDIT: here's a link: http://www2.sprint.com/mr/news_dtl.do?id=13640

Yeah, the A940 has some extras added to it: more weight, more ugliness, more bulgy camera, and lots more. You're right, the V3m just comes short when it comes to its size and how it has twice the memory, MMS, Flight Mode, and many other features that degrade the RAZR.
What's my girlfriend doing in your five?
