I am a Verizon customer and I recently decided I wanted ringtones on my phone. I decided to get magix software and created my ringtones in that. In order to get them to my phone, I found out I had to send them from my computer to mynumber at vzwpix.com. I was able to open it as a pix audio text message and then hit options and then click on save as ringtone.
A friend of mine is a Sprint customer. He wants one of the ringtones I created. Does anybody out there know how I can send it to him where he can open it as a text message? He does not have e-mail on his phone. Once he receives the message, how does he save it as a ringtone? Someone said you had to rename the file to .qcp. Is this correct? Please help.

Re: Ringtone Questions
That all depends on the Sprint phone.
Spint ringtones use the basic ringtone format: .wav or .mp3, not .qcp.
See this link:

Basic transfer mode is phone to phone via bluetooth or USB data transfer via PC.If you find this post helpful, click on bottom of each post: Like l Share
