HI guys my old phone (Evo 4g) fell down the stairs and is completely usless right now.
My contract ended on the 1st and im looking for a new phone.
Honestly I use my phone the most for internet/mail, then texting then talking.
I dont know if I will root it or not, ive never rooted a phone (I have two nook colors that are running cyanogenmod but thats a lot easier as I understand it)
My gf wants me to get an iphone but im not doing it.
She also wants me to get a phone with a great camera so we can take pictures of our son, we already have a regular digital camera but she says we wont always have it with us.

anyway I had it narrowed down to the Galaxy S3 and The Galaxy Note 2
until I saw the LG Optimus G with its much higer MP camera...but I was reading reviews and Cnet said the pictures werent all that great. Which I dont understand. On top of that Id have to wait a week with no phone until it comes out. Im also a little leary of the no SD card, no removable battery thing. It probably wont make a difference for me but its a concern.

SO all bets are off at that point.
I really like the idea of the Note 2 but its $100 more and it is pretty large.

im having a really tough time deciding
    Any suggestions?

oh one other thing, Im on an employee referral plan (I used the code Russ McGuire posted on his blog) to get cheaper service, can I order from the sprint website?
I remember going into a Sprint store once with an issue where I needed a replacement phone and I had to go to a different location to get it taken care of.

As far as I know, you should be able to upgrade online.

You have a tablet. Do you want a phone and tablet in one? If so, the Note II would be a good choice.

If you're just looking for a decent phone, then I would go with the Galaxy S III or the LG Optimus G.

I haven't done much research on the LG Optimus G, but I believe it is similar to the Nexus 4.

Samsung is really pushing the Galaxy S III. It looks like a great device from what I've seen. If you do want to root the phone or make any changes I'm sure there are a lot of people that are working on it since it seems to be a popular device.
