Do you mean on the outside display or the inside (color) display? I don't think you can turn off the outside display, but the inside display can be changed by changing the wallpaper, as far as I know.

there isnt a way to remove the outside time, but there shouyld be just a plain blank white wallpaper on the phone that takes that time off of the main screen
