Your most recent calls are viewable on myt-mobile . The text messages are viewable there as well, although only the destination of the text message (not the content itself) is viewable. It should be noted that the information has a delay on it, sometimes the delay is 2 hours, other times it could be as much as 15. Regardless, the delay is always given to you.

Customer care also has your most recent calls (with the same delay that t-mobile.com). An account security password is recommended for when you call customer care, and should be different than your myt-mobile.com password. It is also highly recommended that you change your myt-mobile password every 3 months.

wow, i can check my call log on line? that is great! one question, i just signed up for paperless billing, is it still viewable with paperless billing? thats such a good feature cause with sprint i signed up for paperless billing ( they give u 5.00 off your bill for signing up for paperless billing ) and when you sign on to their site, your call records are NOT viewable AT ALL.. all you can see is the amount of minutes used, and your bill total and credits, if any. it wasnt very detailed, where as, tmobile is INCREDIBLY detailed, as far as i know rite now. i log on to tmobile every single day sometimes 5 or 6 times a day, depending on how busy i am. I am very happy to know that i can view all my call logs, its especially good for when people like me, get people who call over and over and over if u dont answer, and it deletes the last # out of ur phone, which could be a number u planned on saving. so if i ever loose my numbers out of my call log before saving them, i can still retrieve them! ok enough with this novel, thank you AGAIN rr

    stretc6375,

If you have a "friend" that is telling you, word for word, about what's in your text messages that you are sending, this person is either the person receiving the text messages, or knows the person that is getting the text messages and their being told about them word for word, or getting them forwarded to them. Or you or someone that has handled your phone, has somehow set up a group text message and the messages are also being sent to this "friend".

So this means that all txt you send is going to more than one person (txt sent to A also going to B C D E F and XYZ) or text that you send to A is also going to B as well.

Also sounds like this friend has a good enough line to be able to get you to believe that she is able to do something special with your account. That or she knows you well enough to read you like a box of tissues in room full of people with head colds! And she's having so much fun making your squrim it seems.

    hmmm....

sounds very similar to the hackers who obtained all of paris hilton's sidekick info. when they interviewed the hackers, they explained how simple it actually was. pretty scary if you have private info on it. (or pics with questionable content...see paris hilton)

This is a very long shot but I had an idea on what could be happening, although with a GSM phone that uses a SIM maybe this isn't possible. I had to replace my phone due to a Sprint error (inconvenient but they did resolve the situation and credit my bill for the trouble), and right after I activated the new phone, I realized both phones would ring on an incoming call! Same thing with text, it popped up on both phones. Again, CDMA is very different and this doesn't seem like it would be possible on GSM but maybe someone else can either confirm or deny that for me....

EDIT: would a cloned SIM cause a similar thing to happen???

    i'm not sure, brad.

when the paris hilton story broke, the hackers revealed that all sidekick info was stored on a central t-mobile server. by posting as t-mo officials over the phone, they were able to obtain passwords and security clearances to obtain access to this type of info. so, i'm wondering if this is some sort of simplified version of that hack, where the 'friend' has obtained passwords to see the text messages and call history.

The Paris Hilton thing was not related to her SIM card. Hackers had found a way to get into T-Mobile servers that held sidekick data. Sidekick II customers can upload their info onto T-Mobile servers. It's almost the same as the "My Album" feature on a regular T-Mobile phone. The "My Album" features allows T-Mobile customers to upload their pictures from their phones to T-Mobile servers. As far as passwords, I don't know if this is true but I remember reading that supposedly the pw was her dog's name, and anybody who watched "The Simple Life" can tell you her dog's name.

Anyway, not to be rude, but I don't really think I can believe what this guy is saying. Not even T-Mobile Customer Care employees can see the content of a text message, so it would be impossible to call customer care and act like you didn't get to read a text message and have it read back to you.
