what can i do to get old statement

I had Tmobile account about 2 years ago and then canceled it. Today I call them to see if I can use my old phone and they told me that I have 37 dollars balance on them. I never received any bill stating I own them money before. I want them to send me the statement so that i can find out from my credit card company if I payed it. The customer service is very rude and unprofessional. She told they don't own the account any more and let me to call the bill collector company and she refused to connect me the manager. I called the bill collector and they said they don't have any statement. I have to ask from T-mobile company. I found a few times that T-mobile made mistake on their bills. How can get my calling statement so that I can know if I really own their money. I know it is small amount but I just don't want their mistake to ruin my credit history.thank you for any suggestions,
