I was just wondering how many of you are happy with T-Mobile. I have a lot of friends that are just waiting for Nov 24 to switch their providers. I think I will stay with T-Mobile for now. They haven't given me any reason to switch. I have heard a lot of horror stories from other providers. How do you feel?

I too have T-Mobile. I think it's a fine provider. I think you should stick with it. I have many other friends with other providers and they are anxiously waiting for their contracts to come up so they can switch over to T-Mobile. I have had their service for about 2 years now, and never have had one problem.

i personally think it isnt anytrhing special, speaking to mobile phone provider people I usually get the opinion of t-mobile being a company that rips you off for the service in the UK.
I am on orange and t-mobile, I find in my home village in the midlands the service, with t-mobile cracks up alot and sometimes I loose the connection totally.
All services claim to have a coverage of over 98% of the UK. However, this is not the really case.
Id say orange was the best. But thats just me.

2. T-Mobile USA falls under Deutsch Telekom ownership, but is a wholly separate division. It's services are a bit better, considering the long list a negative rap about it in Europe, but the raves here in the US.
3. Orange is not available in the US... our Main carriers are Verizon/Vodafone (CDMA), Cingular (TDMA, GSM), AT&T (TDMA, GSM), SprintPCS (CDMA), Nextel (iDEN), and T-Mobile (GSM). other companies include Cellular One, Qwest, VM, Tracfone, Liberty, Alltel, Metrocell... all of these being resellers who work off of someone else's network.

It depends on where you live. I used to have AT&T, but had tons of dropped calls and crappy service in general, while others across the country that I talked to had great service with AT&T. Now I have T-Mobile, and it works great for me!

t-mo coverage is great. phones are easy to replace, no need to call customer service to switch phones, account, etc. over. just place sim into new phones and bam! it's done. customer service sucks! they sold a customer an 8290 phone, a month later the phone was defective. they know the phone was defective but would not replace it cuz they would not warranty a discontinued phone. but they were nice enough to offer another 8290 phone for $100. of course, no warranty again. never heard of any good notes about t-mo customer service. they will put you on hold, hang up on you and give you the run around (and these are supervisors too). the less you have to call them, the better. fortunately, you can take your number with you now so i would suggest all my customers to switch to at&t if t-mo does any of the above to them. good luck!
