    Hello,

Could somebody prove a point for me.

I'm currently roaming in Italy, using a work mobile on o2 network (Back
    in UK)

I've called a couple of friends a few times back in England (They are
on o2 also and another on Orange) They reckon that they are getting
charged for reciving my call from abroad!?!? Surely this is rubbish, as
for one I'm almost certain you dont get charged to recieve a call,
secondly how would the network they are on know I'm roaming, as surely
my calls are routed to the UK first, then onto them as if I was in the
    UK as normal.

Could somebody please let me know if these assumptions are correct as
    I'm beginning to get annoyed.

    Thanks

    Ben

No incoming calls on a UK network are not charged. Your only charge for
incoming calls when roaming outside of the UK.

    Yes, this is rubbish.

You (or your work) will be paying through the nose for incoming and
outgoing calls, but callers ringing you from the UK will pay the
normal costs to ring your mobile number, and they will pay the normal
costs for receiving calls from you (nil).
