I have just received my brand new Nokia 6280. The instructions say the
battery cover should just slide off. I have tried and tried and it's not
offering to move at all. Is there a special way of getting the cover off. If
I try much harder I'm going to break the phone.

Finaly managed it. I was pushing the silver bit thinking it was all part of
the cover when infact it's only the thin plastic piece that comes off

Does make you wonder wether the designers ever try to take the batteries
out !!

Yes it's just poor design for the sake of it as far as I'm concerned. The
least they could do is make the instructions clear as to what bit comes
off.!
