Am I correct in my understanding that in the UK, our mobile phones have
07nnn prefix followed by a six-digit number or is it an 07nn prefix
followed by a seven-digit number?
Thanks

077, 078 or 079 and a 6 digit number. 076 are/were allocated to pagers
(are there any left..?!)
Watch out for so-called "personal" numbers beginning 070 which can have
hefty charges up to 50p/minute.
