Have a cark-91 factory fitted to a Nissan Primera SVE. I've tried to use my
old 6210 (which should be compatible with the unit) in the cradle, which is
recognised by the in-car system, but it will only display the last dialled
    number.

It should give you a menu where you can navigate the phone book and select
    any phonebook entry to call.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

    I'm wondering if it's the 6210 firmware.

The fact that you're putting it in a car kit should make no difference to
the operation of the phone except that the received audio comes out of the
speaker and your voice is picked up by the external microphone.

If the phone works out of the kit it should work exactly the same in it.
Are you saying this isn't happening..?

Eh..? The CARK-91 consists of a cradle, control unit, microphone and
speaker, nothing else. You operate the phone using the phone's keypad and
the sound comes from the speaker. Your voice is picked up from the
microphone. How can/why would the "kit" want or need to access the SIM..?

If a phone works out of a CARK-91 it should work in it. I've had one in my
car for over 4 years and have used a 6150, 6210 and 6310i with no problems
    whatever.

Thanks guys. I'll try looking at remote sim, as looking at the Primera
manual, it does say something about downloading the phonebook from the SIM
    card to the car.

Hmm. He said a CARK-91 which I read as being a CARK-91. An in-car system
isn't a CARK-91 even if it is connected to one.
