I have been a Verizon customer for several years but my Verizon phone died. I now have a Tracfone. After an hour and a half, Tracfone was able to transfer my phone # for the last 60 years from Verizon to Tracfone and sense, I have been trying to cancel my Verizon account. They won't answer to my non-Verizon phone. I was told it can be done at the store but they said they can't cancel accounts anymore and gave me a different # to call with the same results.

Without a Verizon phone #, I can't register to chat to someone at Verizon. All I have is my account # but its not accepted to try to get on-line. Tried on my sisters Verizon phone but they won't accept it if it is not my # to cancel my account. I've tried several times to register but it keeps telling me I am giving them the wrong info. I just keep going around in circles.

How do I cancel my account?
