Sorry but the answer is "no". VM is very strict about outside ringtones etc. Until they loosen their grip....you must get everything directly from them. Even if a site says they accept VM customers....once the stuff is sent to your phone you will not be able to get it on your phone.

tinadubose is right... YOu cant send anything to your phone as a ringtone as it wont be saved as a ringtone but as a sound which you cannot use as a ringtone. YOu can only purchase ringtones from their site.

Blech, any reason for that? I mean I don't see why they have to restrict the content so much

They do it to make money of course! Since they're an inexpensive prepaid MVNO, they have to nickel and dime us to make a profit!
