I've noticed some good deals with this outfit but it has got me to wondering. If I go directly to, say, Cingular (online or b&m), I know I can return the phone to their b&m if there are problems.

If I've gone thru wirefly and I need the phone replaced, can I go to a Cingular store to get a new one or do I have to deal with wirefly via snail mail?

    Here's my experience with Wirefly:

I ordered two phones and signed up for T-Mobile service. I also ordered one after-market car charger to go with it. Each phone also included a complimentary bluetooth headset.

I received the shipment within 3 days (1 day to process, 2 days to ship). What was initially missing in the shipment were the two comped bluetooth headsets. When I opened the boxes for the phones, one of the phone's wall charger was missing too.

I called their customer service reporting the missing wall charger and the two headsets. They said they'd take care of it right away. Notification of the fix came quickly and delivery was being made.

While waiting for the delivery, I needed to use the car charger and it didn't work. The light came on, but when plugged into the phone, it wasn't charging.

I received the shipment for the missing items. Got the two bluetooth headsets (Cardo Scala 500, decent) but still no wall charger!!!

I called them up again, this time complaining about the car charger and still no wall charger. They gave me an RMA # to return the car charger and said they'd take care of the wall charger. I sent the car charger back and recently got a confirmation that my account was credited for the cost of the charger.

I'm still waiting for my wall charger!!! It's already been about a week. They're website is pretty good about letting you know the status of your order and even the subsequent re-delivery of missed items. I've yet to see my delivery for the wall charger.

My only other concern now is if I will have a problem with the rebates I will be getting for the two phones I purchased.

IMHO, as long as you stick to the phone and service (no accessories) you should be okay.

Don't do it. I am still fighting with wirefly aka celluarchoices owned by inphonics inc. I orded my cell and ons last month. I did get the phone no blue tooth headset and software. They never have a supervisor availible or return emails. Today I rejected yet another phone they sent me. I just want what I paid for. Today they informned me that it was too late to return what they sent as it is past 30 days. The problem it is not past 30 days yet. So just beware. I can't trust them so maybe others shouldn't. I have heard mention on outher sites about a possible class action suit. I have requested information as I do not think I will get what I ordered or return the partial shipment I recieved.

    Can you hear me now?
    Lois: You're drunk again.
Peter: No, I'm just exhausted 'cause I've been up all night drinking.

    Re: Using Wirefly?

You know, for a while I saw complaints similar to these on other sites, but lately a lot of the discussion about Wirefly has turned pretty positive. Makes me wonder if they've worked on their customer service, the rebate process, etc.

As for me, I ordered a ROKR through them last fall, and got my rebate a few weeks ago. Yes, you do have to wait like six months before submitting your rebate form, but, in the end, I think it's worth it. I don't know, the company seems to have a pretty good rating over on epinions.com.

I don't have any experience with ordering accesories through them, so I can't speak to that.
