Hello all! I'm new to the boards but I've been doing technical work on phones/phone systems/VM systems for years but my current job has tossed in cell phones as well.

Here's my problem - I administer about 150+ cell phones and we have to operate under the Army rules and regs. Here locally on the Army bases we can only use handsfree devices to make cell calls, or run a high risk of getting ticketed on base. The local Navy bases have taken it one step farther saying you can only make a cellular call while a vehicle is in motion if your handsfree is wireless, so earbuds are totally out. The kick in the but is that the Army rules and regs prevent us from using any Blue Tooth devices because it does not meet the FIPS 140-2 encryption, the 128 bit encryption is not sufficient.

The solution I need - We have a fleet of government owned vehicles and we need a wireless handsfree device that is not Blue Tooth and does not have wires. We're tried the CCM Expert Universla Hands-Free Car Kit and it looks like a great idea, and when I tested it it sounded great, but the person on the remote end had a lot of trouble understanding me unless the vehicle was stopped and the motor turned off. We even tried a 2nd one with the same results. Does anyone know of a device similar to this with a microphone that can be clipped closer to the drivers head for better transmission quality? Oh, and many of our cell phones are Blackberry's which are 2 7/8 to 3 inches in width.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
