I have tried to search for this in the forums but have found no information. I finally dropped my cell phone yesterday. I am very upset; although it seems to work fine. It was in the case attached to my belt with a strap magnetically held, but somehow it fell out and crashed to the hard floor. If not for the crash, I could have lost it! How well-built are these cell phones generally against drops? I'm sure that everybody has dropped their phone at least once. Do drops generally do any damage? I'm sure that the manufacturers are aware of accidental drops and have put-in safeguards.

Re: Accidentally Dropping Phones
uh, dropping a phone generally isn't a problem, most often it causes ugly dents and cracks, but if the phone seems to be fine, then i don't know why you are worrying.

Re: Accidentally Dropping Phones
I don't know if the phone is fine. My friend tried to reach me 3X yesterday. The phone never rang; however later in the day a message appeared on the outiside display saying "3 Missed Calls". I checked and I never turned-off the ringer.

Re: Accidentally Dropping Phones
if it said there were 3 missed calls...then your phone rang.
If it wasnt on silent maybe you had it laying on a counter and you were in another room when he called.
