Ok I have read that it is impossible to have two phones with the same number but I do. First off I Live in Illinois and have cellular one, they switched from a TDMA network to GSM, I had to get a new phone (mototola V190) But my motorola V60t still works with the same number. At least it shows up on caller ID as the old number when I make calls from it. It will only make outgoing calls no incoming. Cellular one tells me this is impossible because they are not even on that network anymore. I am not wanting to take the phone in to prove it because I am afraid they will deactivate it and it has a lot better reception than the new network and when I am in A bind I sometimes need it. Does anyone know how this is possible? Is it legal? What provider is it getting service from?

No the v60t is tdma, then cellular one switched over to gsm, so the v60t is still active for some reason and works to make outgoing calls and the v190 has the same number and a sim card.
