    I'm moving to South Korea pretty soon, and will need a phone that works there and in the US. I've done some amount of searching, but haven't found anything very promising.

    I'd appreciate some guidance regarding this. Thanks

    You have to find out what GSM standart you have in Us and in Korea. Mostly, modern cell phones could work in different frequences, so I think you will be oK

    get a 3G 2100, wcdma, quad band, unlocked phone. this is the phone use in korea and japan
    example: nokia 6630, nokia 6680 and most of the nokia N series. make sure the phone is unlocked
