Hey everyone I just bought a spankin' new LG voyager in Titanium. one reason why I chose the phone was because of its awesome battery life. I realize that in order to achieve this good battery life there's some stuff I can do. heres a list of things I do for my voyager already:
-I know the first 3 charges are "Conditioning Charges". therefore next charge I'm going to charge it over night ONE more time, while the phone is off and the battery is completely dead.
-I Turn off my phone at times when I'm not using it (in other words, when I'm sleeping.
-I turned off the whole touch-screen vibrate and sound feature.
-I turned off the keypad beeps (that's annoying anyways at the speed that I text message)

So what else can I do to maximize my battery life besides dimming the screen and turning off 3g? How should I charge it? Should I have it off when I'm charging it? Should I not use it when it's charging? Should I only charge it until it says "Charge Complete" or should I leave it for a few more hours?

I am an ex-iphone user, I know allllll about bad battery life and I'm trying to avoid it at all costs. so if I could get some tips and hints and such for my phone to maximize the battery life and life span of my new voyager, I'd be the happiest man on earth.

by the way the phone is terrific I'd tae it over the iPhone any day

Using my 755P Treo don't have a battery issue.
If I'm not on a plane, my phone is on.
If not I'm carrying it, my phone is plugged in.
If I'm not bluetoothin or emailin, those apps are off.
