Just wanted to let you all know that a small start-up located in Cupertino, CA called Rhomobile has developed a new open-source framework that’s pretty awesome. This new framework makes mobilizing your app easier and faster by using HTML for display and once you write it, it works as a native app across all smartphone platforms (iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android). It also allows you full access to device capabilities such as GPS, PIM contact and camera. And to top it off, they offer a better user experience than other solutions out there by allowing the app to work with locally synced data. They are also conducting an open-source contest with the prize being $10,000 . More info can be found on their website. What are your guys’ thoughts on this new technology?
