Although the Microsoft Kin phones were aimed toward the teenagers, it seems as the younger generation prefers the new Apple iPhone 4 and the Android phones over the Microsoft Kin. Microsoft is saying good-bye to the Kin and instead is focusing on the Windows Phone 7. Below is the statement from Redmond:
“Microsoft has made the decision to focus on the Windows Phone 7 launch and will not ship KIN in Europe this fall as planned. Additionally, we are integrating our KIN team with the Windows Phone 7 team, incorporating valuable ideas and technologies from KIN into future Windows Phone releases. We will continue to work with Verizon in the U.S. to sell current KIN phones.”
Verizon will still probably sell the Kin, but for how long is yet unclear. It's probably safe to say that the Microsoft Kin will not see any updates as the phone will soon be phased out.

I don't like how the letters on the buttons look totally off-centre!

Re: Saying good-bye to Microsoft Kin
Before this when Microsoft launches his 1st mobile. It was very costly as compared with other mobile companies. Even then many people tried it as Microsoft launched it but they didn't like that set.
Wonder why Microsoft is far behind in mobile sector!!
