This rugged Ravine can take on the most severe environments. This handset is perfect for those who love the water and the water sports as well as other tough terrain environments.

The Casio G'zOne Ravine has three sensors in which are for direction, acceleration and temperature. Features of the rugged handset include:
3.2 megapixel camera with video capture capabilities and LED flash, Clear Talk noise cancellation, Text-to-Speech and voice dictation, GPS, compass, Bluetooth, Push-to-talk and a microSD card slot.

Launch date has not been mentioned yet, but Verizon will sell the Casio G’zOne Ravine for $149.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate) with a new 2-year service agreement.

It looks pretty cool. Great design although I have to admit I'm not much into clamshell phones I think this one's nice

This looks like a good phone but I'm more into the plain and simple design and not sure if this will really gain a stronger market ground with all the touch capable devices out there. It might do for me if it took on a few of the Razr's aesthetic features.

    We really never can tell

A lot of people including myself still love using phones with standard keyboard, even QWERTY ones but point is not all people are into TS phones and it's just nice that we have this much selection for different people with different taste

I completely agree with , it is always good to have enough variety for everybody to select from. If the phone is entirely for assortment purpose then there is is nothing wrong with it. But if it's to win a market segment then that is something to really ponder about.
