Via iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes installed on a computer you can use the app to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the contacts from the account with the OneTouch Elevate. This method requires a computer with Internet access.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
  3. From the summary page, access the “Info” tab
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Log in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. When done, register the Google account on the Alcatel device and allow it to sync contacts with your Android device

Via iCloud:

NOTE: If you used the iCloud backup service and your iPhone contacts are stored on your account, you can access it on a computer with Internet and export the contacts as a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. In iCloud, click “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts
  7. Alternatively, skip the step above and instead connect the OneTouch Elevate to your computer via USB, and transfer the vCard file to the phone’s storage. Then use the “Contacts” app and the “Import” option to add the vCard’s contents to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer, you can transfer your contacts without one too. “My Contacts Backup” is a third party app for iOS that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup
  3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email
  4. Compose a new email and make sure the backup file is attached to it
  5. Send the email to your own Gmail address
  6. Switch to the Alcatel device, open the email and download the vCard file
  7. Use the “Contacts” app to import the vCard file to your phonebook

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app useful for contact transfer is “Send Anywhere” (iOS and Android). It uses a p2p connection to transfer contacts, even cross-platform, without needing a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on your iPhone
  2. Install the app on the Alcatel device via the Google Play Store
  3. Open the app on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send” again
