Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the OneTouch Pixi 3 to your computer via USB
- Drag the “Status” bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a “disk drive”
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, double-click “Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer"
- Navigate to the “Media” directory on your phone
- Open a second Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your computer
- Copy the files and transfer the min the “Media” directory on the phone, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect it from the USB connector
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer and access “Settings”
- Swipe to “Device” and tap “Sound”
- Under “Call Ringtones & vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal storage.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Edit” (icon shaped like a pencil)
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the apps drawer and access “Settings”
- Under “Device”, tap “Sound & notification”
- Swipe to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
