Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the OneTouch Pop Star to your computer via USB
- Swipe the “Status” bar down and ensure that the phone is connected as a “disk drive”
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, double-click “Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer”
- Access the “Media” folder on the phone and open a second Explorer window
- In the second window, locate the audio files you want to use for your ringtones / notification sounds
- Transfer / copy the files in the “Media” directory on the phone (preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folders)
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and disconnect the phone from the USB connector
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Swipe to “Device” and tap “Sound”
- Scroll to “Call Ringtones & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts that are stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Swipe to “Device” and tap “Sound & notification”
- Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap “OK” to confirm
