Create a New Contact:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts
  3. Tap “+
  4. Add the contact’s phone number, name, and other details in the appropriate fields
  5. Tap “Done” to store the contact / sync with your Google account

Import / Export Contacts:

  1. Open “Contacts
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Import / Export
  3. Select to “Import from SIM”, “Import from storage”, or “Export to storage
  4. When exporting contacts, tap “OK” to confirm
  5. If importing contacts, select an account if necessary, and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process

Create a Speed Dial Widget:

  1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
  2. Select “Widgets
  3. Find the “Direct Dial” widget
  4. Tap and hold the widget, then drag > drop it on top of the home screen
  5. At the prompt, select the contact you want to associate with the Direct Dial widget

NOTE: You can create as many Direct Dial widgets as you need, and you can group them in folders by dragging > dropping them as you would with regular app shortcuts

Delete a Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts
  2. Select the contact you want to remove
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu
  4. Tap “Delete” and press “OK” to confirm

Create a New Caller Group:

  1. Launch “Contacts
  2. Tap “+” to start creating a new contact
  3. If necessary, select an account
  4. Swipe down to “Groups” and tap “Group name
  5. Tap “Create a new Group” and enter the desired name for the group
  6. Tap “OK” and enter the contact’s details
  7. Tap “back” and the new group will be saved automatically

Add a Contact to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Open “Contacts
  2. Select the contact you want to add to the group
  3. Tap “Edit” (icon shaped like a pencil)
  4. Scroll to “Groups
  5. Tap “Group name” and select the group you want to add the contact to
  6. Tap “Back” and the changes will be saved automatically
