Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the ZTE Blade D6 to your computer via USB
  2. Drag the “Status” bar down and enable “Media device (MTP)” if necessary
  3. From the AutoPlay window on the PC, double-click to “Open folders to view files
  4. Open the “Media” directory on the phone
  5. Launch a second Explorer window and locate the media files on your computer
  6. Copy the files and paste them in the “Media” directory on the phone, preferably in the “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folders
  7. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone

Change the General Phone Ringtone:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Access “Settings
  3. Under “Device”, tap “Sound
  4. Swipe to “Call Ringtones & vibrate
  5. Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  6. Tap “OK” to confirm, and optionally enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts that are stored on the SIM card or the phone’s memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts
  2. Select a contact and tap “Edit
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. From the phone’s “Settings” menu, scroll to “Device
  2. Tap “Sound & notification
  3. Scroll to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound
  4. Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
