Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the ZTE Blade D6 to your computer via USB
- Drag the “Status” bar down and enable “Media device (MTP)” if necessary
- From the AutoPlay window on the PC, double-click to “Open folders to view files”
- Open the “Media” directory on the phone
- Launch a second Explorer window and locate the media files on your computer
- Copy the files and paste them in the “Media” directory on the phone, preferably in the “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone
Change the General Phone Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access “Settings”
- Under “Device”, tap “Sound”
- Swipe to “Call Ringtones & vibrate”
- Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm, and optionally enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts that are stored on the SIM card or the phone’s memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select a contact and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- From the phone’s “Settings” menu, scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Scroll to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
